Ayurveda is a holistic health care system that literally translates into “the knowledge of life”. It evolved in India thousands of years ago yet it is still just as relevant in our lives today. The ultimate goal of Ayurveda is to create harmony between the body, mind and spirit. Ayurveda views every individual as a unique expression of nature and because of this each person has a different path towards their optimal health and happiness. Through the understanding of our individual needs we nurture and cultivate health and beauty from within and experience the healing effects of Ayurveda. Yoga and Ayurveda are sister sciences and when combined create the ultimate holistic living and healing sytem.

Julia originally from Berlin and based in Amsterdam teaches a variety of classes including Vinyasa, Astanga, Yin. Her classes are inspired by the continuous studies of Ayurveda as well as her own journey. She sees yoga as a mirror that continuously shows her different sides of her self over and over again proving that everything is constantly changing. With teaching she hopes to create a supportive environment for her students to connect to their essence and to leave the sessions feeling nourished, happy and inspired. Julia is a certified yoga instructor, Ayurvedic nutrition & lifestyle coach and is further studying to become an ayurvedic practitioner.
Karen is a mother of two young kids and lives in Portugal. She started her journey in Yoga and Ayurveda over 10 years ago and got inspired to share the wisdom of these sciences along the way. Karen aims to create a safe space in her classes and in her consultations, leaving you empowered and encouraged to follow your inward journey to health and happiness. She strongly believes that yoga and ayurveda are for everybody, and can be practiced in a way that suits your lifestyle. Karen is a certified yoga instructor, Ayurvedic nutrition & lifestyle coach and is further studying to become an ayurvedic practitioner.
